New gel may mean fewer applications for knee pain
NCT ID NCT06729073
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested how much of a pain-relieving gel (diclofenac) gets into the blood when applied once a day compared to a standard gel applied four times a day. Thirty-four healthy adults used each gel for 7 days. The goal was to see if the once-daily gel provides similar drug levels with fewer applications.
