Summary

This study looks at whether diathermy, a tool that uses electricity to stop bleeding during surgery, changes how well continuous glucose monitors work in people with Type 1 Diabetes. About 126 adults and children will have their glucose readings checked before and after surgery. The goal is to see if the monitors stay accurate during and after the procedure.
