Summary
This study tested a new medical device called the DiamondTemp Ablation System for people with persistent atrial fibrillation (AFib) that doesn't respond to medications. Doctors used the device to carefully heat and scar small areas of heart tissue that cause the irregular heartbeat. Researchers followed 376 patients for a year to see if the procedure was safe and could keep their hearts in normal rhythm.
