Phone therapy trial aims to ease suffering for dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT06978127

Summary

This study is testing whether a phone-based support program can help people on dialysis better manage their pain, extreme tiredness (fatigue), and depression. The program connects patients with care teams who can provide counseling or medication advice, tailored to each person's needs. The goal is to see if this integrated approach improves daily life and symptoms for 424 patients across 36 dialysis centers.
