Could a change in dialysis routine save limbs?
NCT ID NCT07479888
Summary
This study tested whether a different dialysis schedule could help protect the legs and feet of people with kidney failure. It compared the standard schedule (4 hours, 3 times a week) with a daily schedule (2 hours, 6 times a week) in 60 patients. The goal was to see which method better maintained blood flow during treatment to prevent severe leg complications and amputations.
