Dialysis workouts: can exercise during treatment help kidney patients move better?

NCT ID NCT07442240

Summary

This study tested whether doing exercises during dialysis treatments could help kidney patients move better in daily life. 56 adults on regular dialysis were divided into groups doing back/core exercises, breathing muscle training, or continuing their usual care. Researchers measured walking ability, mobility, and breathing strength before and after the 10-week program to see if exercise during treatment made a difference.
