Trial questions need for monthly dialysis access scans
NCT ID NCT05906550
Summary
This study compared two ways to monitor the blood vessels used for dialysis. One group had their access flow checked monthly. The other group only had it fixed when a problem arose during treatment. Researchers wanted to see if waiting for symptoms was just as safe and could reduce medical procedures and costs.
