Trial questions need for monthly checks on dialysis Patients' blood vessel access

NCT ID NCT05906550

Summary

This study tested a new approach for managing the special blood vessel connection (access) used for dialysis. It compared two methods: the usual practice of monthly check-ups to find and fix narrowing before it causes problems, versus only fixing the narrowing when clear problems arise during dialysis. The goal was to see if waiting for problems is safe and could reduce medical procedures and costs.
