New test aims to unlock the mystery of Kids' stubborn constipation

NCT ID NCT07291661

Summary

This study is testing if a special pressure test of the rectum and anus can help doctors better understand and treat severe, long-term constipation in children. It will involve 54 children aged 4 to 18 whose constipation hasn't improved with standard treatments. The goal is to see if the test results can point doctors toward more specific therapies, like biofeedback training or Botox injections, to help these children.
