NCT ID NCT05241522
First seen May 05, 2026 ยท Last updated May 05, 2026
Summary
This study tested a special imaging agent (Tc-99m-tilmanocept) to see if it can detect early kidney changes in people with diabetic kidney disease. 57 adults with diabetes and suspected kidney problems received a single injection, and their kidneys were scanned. The goal was to see if this method can tell different types and stages of kidney disease apart, which could help with earlier diagnosis and better treatment in the future.
