New wound patch made from birth tissue tested for stubborn diabetic sores

NCT ID NCT07039396

Summary

This study is testing whether a special skin graft made from processed amniotic tissue (NeoThelium FT) can help heal diabetic foot ulcers more effectively. Ten adult participants with specific types of diabetic foot sores will receive the graft weekly along with their standard wound care. Researchers will track how many sores heal completely, how quickly they close, and whether they stay closed after treatment.
