New powder tested to heal diabetic foot wounds faster
NCT ID NCT05046158
Summary
This study tested whether a new transforming powder dressing could heal diabetic foot ulcers better than standard wound dressings. 135 adults with a diabetic foot sore that had been present for at least a month were randomly assigned to use either the new powder or standard care. Researchers checked the sores weekly for up to 12 weeks to see which group healed faster and with fewer problems.
