Eye checkups could boost diabetes control in bangladesh

Summary

This study tests a new way to help people with diabetes and diabetic retinopathy (an eye complication) in Bangladesh. Doctors will receive eye exam results along with specific tips on how to manage the patient's diabetes. The goal is to see if this extra information helps more patients reach healthy blood sugar targets. About 336 adults over 30 are being recruited from two hospitals.
