Could a One-Time procedure help control diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07355270
Summary
This is an early study to test a new procedure for people with type 2 diabetes. Doctors will use a device to apply radiofrequency vapor to the lining of the first part of the small intestine. The goal is to see if this one-time procedure is safe, tolerable, and can help improve long-term blood sugar levels without the need for serious ongoing changes to medication.
