New diabetes treatment study aims to smooth out blood sugar spikes
NCT ID NCT07442006
Summary
This study is testing a combination of diabetes medications to see if it helps control blood sugar levels more steadily throughout the day. It is for adults with type 2 diabetes whose current treatment with metformin and an SGLT-2 inhibitor isn't working well enough. Researchers will measure how much blood sugar swings up and down over a 12-week period.
