Diabetes breakthrough? study tests new ways to keep blood sugar controlled after intensive treatment
NCT ID NCT07173712
Summary
This study aims to find the best long-term treatment for people with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar isn't well controlled on pills alone, even after they receive a short, intensive course of insulin therapy. Researchers will compare three different medication combinations to see which one helps the most patients maintain healthy blood sugar levels over six months. The goal is to identify a simple, effective treatment plan that reduces the risk of diabetes complications.
