Summary
This study looks at people with type 2 diabetes whose pills are no longer controlling their blood sugar well. All participants will first get a short course of intensive insulin in the hospital. Then, they will be split into three groups to try different drug combinations for 24 weeks. The goal is to see which treatment plan helps the most people reach healthy blood sugar levels without causing too many side effects.
