Diabetes may hinder tooth repair success, study finds
NCT ID NCT07332026
Summary
This study aimed to see if having type 2 diabetes affects how well a tooth-saving procedure called a pulpotomy works. It compared 70 adults with and without diabetes who had a painful, inflamed tooth. Researchers checked if the treated teeth remained pain-free and healthy over time to determine success rates for each group.
