Smart insulin pens and glucose monitors tested to ease Hospital-to-Home transition for diabetes patients

Summary
This study looks at whether using a continuous glucose monitor and a smart insulin pen cap can help people with type 2 diabetes stick to their insulin schedule and control blood sugar after leaving the hospital. About 80 adults who start insulin while hospitalized will be split into two groups: one that sees real-time data from the devices, and one that uses standard finger-prick checks. Researchers will track missed doses, blood sugar levels, and patient satisfaction over 12 weeks.
