Summary
This study tested a culturally adapted diabetes support program designed specifically for Latinx patients. The program used technology and behavioral strategies to help patients better manage their diabetes through education and self-care support. Researchers worked with 20 Spanish-speaking Latinx adults with type 2 diabetes to see if the program improved appointment attendance, self-confidence in managing diabetes, and blood sugar control.
