NCT ID NCT05394844

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a culturally tailored diabetes education program, called Compañeros en Salud, combined with a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) could help Latinx adults with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar. About 120 adults aged 18-60 with an A1C of 8% or higher took part. The goal was to see if adding real-time glucose monitoring to the education program improved blood sugar levels more than education alone.
