Summary
This study tested whether giving adults with type 2 diabetes special education classes and follow-up phone calls helps them manage their diabetes better and stick to their medications. 70 adults were split into two groups: one got the extra support, the other got usual care. Researchers measured self-management, treatment compliance, and confidence in using diabetes medications.
