Summary
This study is monitoring the safety of an automated insulin pump system (Control-IQ 1.5) in children ages 2-6 with type 1 diabetes. Researchers are tracking 144 children using the system in their daily lives for 12 months to measure dangerous blood sugar events and overall diabetes control. The goal is to understand how well and safely this technology works for very young children outside of a hospital setting.
