Can regular Check-Ins keep diabetes in check?
NCT ID NCT01207349
Summary
This study tested whether regular follow-up visits with nurses and dietitians help people with type 2 diabetes manage their condition better. 398 patients received education on diet and exercise, then were split into two groups: one received check-ups every three months, and the other received no special follow-up. Researchers compared the groups after one year to see if the regular support led to better blood sugar control and healthier habits.
