Does a Donor's diabetes doom a cornea transplant?
NCT ID NCT07217249
Summary
This study aims to find out if receiving a cornea from a donor with diabetes affects how well the transplant works five years later. It will follow 570 patients who have already had a specific type of corneal transplant. Researchers will compare the health of the transplanted cells in patients who received tissue from donors with and without diabetes.
