Could a simple neck scan reveal your hidden heart risk?
NCT ID NCT07373938
Summary
This study is testing if a detailed ultrasound scan of the neck artery can spot early signs of heart disease in people with Type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare scans from 80 people with diabetes to those without diabetes. The goal is to see if this scan is better than current tools at predicting who is at high risk for a heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years.
