Can a simple blood test predict heart trouble in diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07347613
Summary
This study follows 450 people with diabetes over time to understand if low levels of a nutrient called glutamine in their blood are linked to a higher risk of future heart problems like heart attacks or strokes. It is an observational study, meaning researchers will collect blood samples and track health events but will not provide any new treatments. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help doctors better predict and prevent heart complications in diabetic patients.
