New silicone pads could be a game changer for diabetic foot care

NCT ID NCT07172763

Summary

This study is testing if new silicone pads can reduce pressure on the feet better than the standard foam pads used today. It involves 80 people with diabetes and nerve damage who are at high risk of developing painful foot ulcers. Researchers will measure foot pressure and ask participants about comfort to see if the silicone pads are a more effective and convenient option for preventing these serious sores.
