Voice messages and free glasses aim to save sight for people with diabetes
NCT ID NCT06968611
Summary
This study is testing if automated voice message reminders, which warn about the risk of vision loss from diabetes, help people in Bangladesh keep their scheduled diabetes and eye check-up appointments. It will also provide free reading glasses to participants. Researchers want to see if this approach is a cost-effective way to get more people the care they need to prevent diabetic eye disease.
