Eye exams could hold key to better diabetes control
NCT ID NCT06968637
Summary
This study is testing if giving diabetes doctors specific care recommendations when their patients have diabetic eye disease helps improve blood sugar control. It involves 336 adults in Bangladesh with both diabetes and diabetic retinopathy. Researchers will compare if sharing eye exam results with treatment advice works better than just sharing the results alone.
