NCT ID NCT07536516

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how certain diabetes medications (semaglutide, liraglutide, tirzepatide) change blood flow and oxygen use in the eyes of people with diabetes. About 20 adults with diabetes will have their eye blood flow and oxygen levels measured before and after starting one of these drugs. The goal is to understand how these medicines affect the tiny blood vessels in the retina, not to treat or cure any eye condition.
