First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether a culturally tailored diabetes education program, called Compañeros en Salud, combined with a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps Latinx adults with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar. 120 participants were randomly assigned to receive the education program with or without the CGM. The goal was to see if adding real-time glucose monitoring improves A1C levels and other health measures.
