NCT ID NCT05394844
Summary
This study tested whether a diabetes education program designed specifically for Latinx culture, combined with real-time glucose monitoring technology, helps people better manage their type 2 diabetes. 120 Latinx adults with elevated blood sugar levels participated, with some receiving the education alone and others receiving both education and glucose monitoring devices. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar control, weight, activity levels, and overall diabetes management over 6 months.
