Early test: how kidneys handle a new diabetes pill
NCT ID NCT01512849
Summary
This small, early-stage study looked at how a potential diabetes drug called TA-7284 is processed by the body in people with moderate kidney problems. It compared 24 adults with type 2 diabetes who had either normal or reduced kidney function. The main goal was to understand how the drug's levels in the blood and its effect on sugar in the urine differ between these two groups.
