Summary

This study tested whether adding a new drug called Teneligliptin to an existing diabetes medication (pioglitazone) could better control blood sugar in Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes. It involved 204 participants who took the drug combination for up to 52 weeks. The main goal was to see if this combination was safe and effective at lowering long-term blood sugar levels.
