Summary
This study compared the effectiveness and safety of four different drug combinations, all containing metformin, for people newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. It involved 172 adults who took one of the combinations daily for 90 days. The goal was to see which mix best controlled blood sugar and body measurements while causing the fewest side effects.
