Summary
This study tested whether adding a drug called teneligliptin to an existing drug, canagliflozin, could help Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes who still had high blood sugar. It involved 154 participants who took the two-drug combination once a day for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see if this combination was safe and more effective at lowering long-term blood sugar levels than canagliflozin alone.
