Summary
This study tested the safety and effectiveness of giving two diabetes drugs together for a full year. It involved 153 Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar was not well controlled on one of the drugs alone. Researchers measured side effects, changes in long-term blood sugar levels, and body weight over 52 weeks.
