Scientists test if generic diabetes drug works the same
NCT ID NCT07372118
Summary
This study aimed to see if a new version of the diabetes drug Synjardy XR is absorbed by the body the same way as the original version. It involved 32 healthy adults who each took both versions of the drug on separate occasions while fasting. The goal was to check if the two versions are bioequivalent, meaning they deliver the same amount of medicine into the bloodstream.
