NCT ID NCT07193979
Summary
This study aimed to better understand the connection between diabetes and dental health. Researchers examined 120 adults with type 2 diabetes and gum disease to see if their level of blood sugar control was linked to the severity of their gum problems and tooth decay. The study did not test a treatment but instead observed and measured these relationships to build knowledge.
