Summary

This study looked at whether intensive lifestyle changes and weight loss can help improve a common diabetes complication called peripheral neuropathy, which causes nerve damage in the feet and legs. Researchers enrolled 50 adults with diabetes and a high BMI, measuring nerve function before and after the program. The goal was to see if better diabetes control through diet and exercise could slow or reverse nerve damage.
