Diabetes' hidden impact on eye surgery revealed
NCT ID NCT07369388
Summary
This study aimed to understand how diabetes affects the delicate cells at the back of the cornea during cataract surgery. Researchers compared 100 patients—some with diabetes and some without—to see if their eye cells responded differently to the procedure. The goal was to gather better information to help surgeons plan and perform safer operations for diabetic patients.
