Summary
This study tests whether giving specialized training to family doctors and nurses helps their adult patients with type 2 diabetes manage the disease better. The training, provided by diabetes specialists, focuses on current best practices for care. Researchers will compare health outcomes for nearly 7,800 patients whose care teams receive this extra training against those who receive usual care.
