New program aims to tame blood sugar rollercoaster for cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07180251
Summary
This study is testing a new education program to help people who have both diabetes and gastrointestinal cancer manage their health after surgery. The program uses a continuous glucose monitor to help patients understand their blood sugar patterns. Researchers want to see if this approach improves diabetes self-care, reduces distress and fatigue, and boosts quality of life in the first year after cancer surgery.
