First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests if a simple injection of dextrose (sugar water) into the neck can reduce PTSD symptoms like anxiety, brain fog, and depression. About 24 adults who have tried at least two medications and two non-drug treatments for PTSD will receive either the injection or delayed/usual care. The goal is to see if this low-risk procedure improves quality of life and reduces PTSD checklist scores.
