Summary

This study looked at whether injecting a 15% dextrose (sugar water) solution into the shoulder can reduce pain and improve movement in people who had a stroke. Forty participants aged 40 to 75 with hemiplegic shoulder pain were included. The main goal was to measure changes in pain and shoulder range of motion one and three months after the injection.
