Vitamin shot trial aims to speed up stubborn wound healing

NCT ID NCT07395674

Summary

This study is testing whether adding vitamin B5 derivative injections around chronic wounds helps them heal faster. Forty adults with non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, or arterial ulcers will receive either standard wound care alone or standard care plus these injections. Researchers will measure changes in wound size and skin regrowth to see if the injections make a difference.
