First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether a nebulized drug called dexmedetomidine can prevent dangerous blood pressure spikes when a breathing tube is placed in women with severe preeclampsia undergoing cesarean section under general anesthesia. About 100 participants will receive the treatment, and researchers will monitor blood pressure changes and side effects like sore throat. The goal is to make the procedure safer for both mother and baby.
