First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at how well the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor works in 60 diabetes patients who had poor blood flow during hospital stays, such as after surgery or in the ICU. Researchers compared the monitor's readings to standard finger-stick blood sugar tests. The goal was to see if the device stays accurate when circulation is impaired. Participants wore the monitor for up to 10 days while receiving usual diabetes care.
