New steroid shot may stop post-surgery nausea in brain patients

Summary

This study tests whether a longer-acting steroid (dexamethasone palmitate) given before brain surgery can better prevent nausea and vomiting afterward compared to standard treatment. About 500 adults having elective brain surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this drug reduces side effects and improves recovery.
