New study aims to improve pain relief for kids after arm surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether giving the anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone through a vein or near the nerves works better for controlling pain after arm or hand surgery in children. Ninety kids weighing more than 5 kilograms will take part. The goal is to find the best method to reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers.
