First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a single injection of dexamethasone, a steroid, can reduce pain after surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth. 70 adults aged 20-40 will be split into two groups: one gets standard numbing medicine, the other gets an extra steroid shot after surgery. Pain levels will be measured using a 0-10 scale at 24, 48, and 72 hours after the procedure.
